Last week in the Jayapalan household, Daryl passed away, Gared and Genevieve became children, Marriah retired, Elise had twins Isadora and Anastacia who grew to toddlers.
This week, the family needed a home that could accomidate their rapid growth so they decided to completely rebuild.

Settling into their new home, Rob and Elise felt the pull to expand their family even more. The halls that were once crowded and noisy now echoed a bit more....even with four kids running around. Deciding to seize the moment, Rob and Elise call to adopt their fifth child.

They adopted a toddler daughter named Jamie. She was sweet and energetic...the perfect fit for the family she was now a member of.
Grandma Marriah was still around to help care for her grandchildren, and her help was invaluable to Rob and Elise. They were able to work while Marriah stayed home to look after the little ones.

With a such a full house, a birthday was never far away...there was a slew of them this week...

Unfortunately, in such a busy household, the passing of dear sweet founder Marriah was nearly missed. She is gone, but will not be forgotten by her family.
With her mother now gone, then spending time with her close friend Ruby, Elise had another void that she longed to fill. She and Rob had discussed adopting just one more child.
The fact that Ruby was expecting made Elise long for another child even more. So she discussed it with Rob and they agreed to adopt just one more child.
This time, the family opted to adopt a child named Sharla. She wasn't the son that Rob had in mind, but that didn't matter, she was full of spunk...another perfect fit for the Jayapalan clan.
At the end of the week it was time to see their teenagers off to college. See you two at uni!
Rob reached TOC in the athletic career and at the same time got his LTW.

Such a nice growing (in a couple senses of the word) family. You've lucked out with the adoption pool too, they can be scary. The picture of the almost gone hula dancer was pretty cool. I guess you did really almost miss it.
