Last week in the Barthalet household it was a busy week! Olivia transitioned to a teen, Sophia gave burth to her final natural child Madeline, Sophia finally found some time for herself and spent it working at her mothers furniture store, twins Audry and Abram became children, Madeline became a toddler, Fiona and Olivia headed off to university, the family adopted a child named Michael, Claire became a teen and at the same time the first and only Grilled Cheese sim on the island.
This picture makes the house look so quiet and peaceful, when in actuallity it is one of the most hectic homes in the neighborhood. Let's find out what they have been up to this round.
The first thing tha family did was welcome their eighth child Jack.
Unfortunately Jack did not take to his new family very well at first. Sophia and Joseph were eperienced parents and knew that it would be difficult for someone Jack's age to adjust. Luckily after a little time and attention Jack found his new family acceptable.

Then it was time once again for one of the most usual occurence in this house...birthday time!
Okay, I somehow missed documenting alot of Madeline's life (the poor thing) I have zero pics of her as a child and she actually transitioned at the tail end of the previous week, regardless, after sifting through photos I found this! And this is here to acknowledge her transition. It is this 10 kid IW...I must say it is really busy in this house, though it is no excuse.

Something in the back yard continuously scares the sims living on the lot...and the visitors, but it mainly affects the residents of the house. Unfortunately, young Abram got spooked in the yard. Next thing I know he is...

Luckily Sophia was on the case...challenging grim to get her son back. Thank goodness she was successful, he was only a kid!

And as a safety measure I have moved all graves from this lot to the community lot graveyard at St. Rose's Church.

After grilling several cheese sandwhiches, Claire decided it was time to head to college and try to meet some people with similar intrests. The only member of her family that would give her the time of day was Michael.
He was always willing to trade tales of grilled cheese. But he was the only one, and Claire was ready to meet some people her own age that shared her interests.
So off to uni she went.

After a long and fulfilling life, the family cat Bosco passed on.

But happiness was not far behind as the family adopted their ninth child, Melanie.
She looks a little hesitant, but actually meshed with the family right away becoming best frineds with her sister Madeline.
The two shared everything from secrets to their bedroom.

In honor of summer, the family decided to revamp their pool and it was fun for all.
The pool made it hard to keep the kids inside to do their homework, but somehow they managed.
And at the end of the week we see Audry and Abram of to college.
Accomplishments this round: Family adopts children #8 and #9 Jack and Melanie, Claire moves to college, Audry and Abram are teens and both leave for uni, Bosco passes away, Sophia and Joseph are elders, Michael and Madeline are teens.

Goodness me, that's a lot of birthdays in one week! Now I know how you all feel reading my blog. Thank goodness you were able to save Abram. I hope you get that fixed soon. Loved the pool picture.

Whew! Lucky for Abram his mom was around.
I hope the mysterious frightenings stop. Although the picture you posted on the Ygroup was hilarious. They all heard creepy footsteps, but nothing was there!

Wow - kids everywhere! I'm hopeless at the 10 children IW, good luck with the rest of the kids. And well done for catching the pulse check on camera - I've never seen that before either.
