Last week in the Barthalet household all we did was celebrate birthdays, well let me just say that will never happen again! I have several birthdays to report, but promise to add at least a few other tid bits from the families daily life. To recap the previous week, Olivia transitioned to a child, Claire was born became a toddler and then a child, cheesecake twins Audry and Abram were born and became toddlers, Fiona became a teen, and we closed with Sophia expecting baby # 6!
With Fiona's help with learning his skills, the family cat Bosco reaches TOC one day before he becomes an elder (one down, five to go to reach Fiona's LTW of having 6 pets reach TOC).
Now he can retire!

At this point, I am starting to get the feeling that Sophia is tired of having children the natural way, though she is a rare sim that I want to get an IW for. That means after this little bun in the oven, she will need four more to reach her goal. Maybe adoption is in order? Though not at the moment...this one is on the way!

And while mom was busy having Madaline, dad was busy helping the twins Audry and Abram learn the rest of their skills before it was time for them to become children.
Big sisters Fiona and Olivia also pitched in to help once in a while.
Though Olivia got a break from her siblings after finding a job in the cullinary field flipping burgers.

With a little break from being pregnant, and all of the helpers she had at home between Joseph, Fiona, and Olivia, Sophia finally found time for herself and decided to spend it at her mother's store.
It had been a while since the store had anyone able to run it, so business was slow at first.
But Sophia found her niche and was back making sales in no time.

And before long, customers were lining up like they used to. It was a good oportunity for Sophia to get back out into the world. She had spent so much time raising her family that she had neglected herself. The memories of her mother were strong at the store and Sophia loved every minute she spent there.

Back at the house it is time for the twins and Madaline's birthday transitions, and with so much going on in the house there was no time to throw a party together...honestly, their birthdays sorta snuck up on me!

Now that he kids are starting to grow up (and the family has decided that Madaline will be the last baby...they do plan to adopt to reach the IW of 10 kids, but will only adopt children in the future) Sophia and Joseph decide it was time for them to try to get the older kids into private school.
So they invite the ugly slob of a headmater Blair Mccarthy.

After dinner and a quick tour of the house Fiona, Olivia, Claire, Audry, and Abram were officially private school students.

With the house cramped, and the week getting closer to the end, Fiona and Olivia decide to head off to Uni.
