Uni Round 1: Oresha-Hoh-Fruhm
Oresha-Hoh-Fruhm, the first and only greek house at Academie Le Bloom sits at the edge of campus and currently has only two members Ben Cipriani and Natasha Swain. But they did not start off as members of OHF, it was a long road to get there. After a couple of semesters focusing on their grades, and working in the dorms cafeteria, the two were ready to team up and found the greek house.
* * *
Natasha met Lucien Cipriani while living in the greek house. Lucien had come by to visit Ben, and ended up meeting the woman of his dreams. His string of bad luck with women ended with her smile. the two spent the day together, and planned to see each other again soon. Lucien couldn't recall if he had even said hello to his son during that visit to campus, but Ben understood and was happy for his father.
Ben also found love during his time at the greek house. Starla was the first pledge to Oresha-Hoh-Fruhm, and while Natasha enjoyed bossing her around, Ben just enjoyed her company. The two fell in love quickly.
Natasha was particularly successful in the university atmosphere. She was named "Big Sim on Campus", and was also an active member of Academie Le Bloom's secret society.
Ben, being less socially apt, was more personally successful at university. He managed to muster the courage to ask Starla to marry him. The happy couple looked forward to their future together beyond university, but they still had a couple of years left...
Uni Round 1 Stat Update:
Swain: Take Two
So, I see your back for round 2! It's me, Natasha Swain again. You probably already know what it looks like, but this is our shack...I mean home, at 2 Petal Parkway. We left off with me complaining that I had missed out on my teen years. Well, you could say I kind of streched the truth. You see, I did have a steady boyfriend then.
He was nice enough, but I knew it would not be forever. I had a whole life in front of me to live, without the burden of raising my sister forever...eventually she would be old enough to take care of herself. And that is when I planned to make my escape. I had already applied and been accepted to Academie Le Bloom and look forward to starting the next year after Marriah was finally in high school.
It was about that time I decided that we needed some sort of protection (that and Marriah constantly nagged me about it). So, we adopted a dog and named her Mystic. It was barely within or budget, as we had no income whatsoever, but I figured she would pay for herself in time by being able ot go off to work.
Within a few months of getting our dog, it was fianlly time for Marriah's birthday. The girl was always as smart as a whip, so I wasn't suprised when she told me she was going to devote herself to knowledge and learning.
Mystic grew quickly and took on the role of protector. To be honest, she was always Marriah's dog, which put me even more at ease having to leave her when I went off to college. I knew that the two of them could look out for eachother.
With that, it was time for me to head off to Academie Le Bloom. I would miss my sister, but not the responsability of raising her. It was time for me to build a life of my own.
Family Stats Round 2:
Cipriani: Take Two
Welcome back to 1 Petal Parkway. I am not sure if I shared with you last time as I was caught up in the death of my wife, but this our home. And again it is me, Lucien Cipriani. When I left off last time, I was just getting into the downward spiral I was on after Polly died. Things had gotten pretty bad. But I was trying with everything I had to turn over a new leaf.
Instead of spending every night after work at the bar, I actually came home and made dinner for Ben and Nolan. At first we didn't talk much. It was hard for me to find the right things to say, as I am sure it was for them. But when I finally spoke, all I could say was "I am so sorry...for everything, and I love you. Both of you." the boys remanined silent that night, but it was what I deserved.
I had wasted so much time. Sure, I had been working stedily in the Political Career track, but I had not been putting much effort into it. When I finally took the initiative, I rose through the ranks quickly and was soon promoted to a city office. It felt good to do the right thing. Really good.
But I could not say that things in my personal life was going very well. I opened myself up to the unknown, I tried dating. And though I gave them all of me, it may have been too much and I was discouraged again and again. Turned down by woman after woman. And though it was devistating, I was not going to let myself go back down the path of self distruction.
Before long, I had decided to give the dating thing a rest (a guy can only have dates backfire so many times before he becomes gun shy). It was time for Ben to go off to college, and for my youngest son Nolan to become a teenager.
I was just glad that I had not missed this important time in their lives. Seeing Ben off to Academie Le Bloom was one of the proudest moments I have ever experienced. And to think, I had almost let it all slip away with a shuffle of the cards. Things were looking up for me, but I was still alone, and soon Nolan would be off to college and I would be alone in our house.
With Ben gone, things were quiet. I looked forward to our successes as a family. It was times like this that I missed Polly the most. She would have been so proud of our son, but I was proud enough for both of us.

Swain: the Beginning
Natasha Swain (CAS teen)
Family - Reach Golden Anniversary
Taurus - 7 neat, 9 outgoing, 1 lazy, 8 playful, 0 grouchy
My name is Natasha Swain. Just a few weeks after my 16th birthday there was a horrible fire in our families apartment in the city. I was able to escape with my baby sister Marriah unharmed, but my parents, John and Claudia, weren't so lucky. They both parished in the awful blaze leaving me to care for myself and Marriah.
Marriah Swain (CAS toddler)
Cancer - 7 neat, 5 shy, 6 active, 1 serious, 6 nice
Before their deaths, my parents had purchased a small cottage on Rose Island. Their plan had been to tear down the old cottage and build a new home on the property.
It wasn't much, but I was more than thankful to have a place to live. We moved in and I quickly hired a nanny to help me with Marriah while I was in school.
Being as young as I was I worried that social services would seperate us, but thankfully the nanny didn't ask many questions. And it wasn't long before my baby sister was old enough to go to school and no longer needed the nanny.
It was about that time when she started asking me about our parents. I decided that it was best for her to know the truth.
So I explained everything as simply as I could. It was hard for me to rehash the memories, but Marriah seemed okay with it. She had been so young when they passed that she barely remembered them. I, on the other hand, still struggled with the loss in more ways than one. I missed my parents, but my teen years had been taken from me. I hadn't yet had the chance to do what normal teens do...

Cipriani: The Beginning
Libra - 2 sloppy, 8 outgoing, 2 lazy, 6 playful, 7 nice
Hello, my name is Lucien Cipriani. I thought that moving to Rose Island would be just the begining for my young family. Turns out I was right in an unexpected way. My wife Polly and I had purchased our first home only a few months before. The day that we were set to move in, tragedy struck.
My darling wife was taken from us. She had been suffering from what we guessed was a common cold for weeks, and before she was able to cross the threshold into our new home, she passed away from her illness which had turned out to be much more serious than we had thought. Polly had been an amazing mother, the glue that held our family together. I did not know if I could do it alone, but we were about to find out. I was left to raise our two boys.
Libra - 2 sloppy, 7 outgoing, 4 lazy, 6 playful, 6 nice
Ben had just turned 16, and Nolan was only 9. Polly and I had planned to have more children some day, but that was not meant to be.
I tried, for the sake of my boys, to hold myself together, but inside I was falling apart.
Ben was more of a father figure to Nolan than I was. But I was thankful for that, at least my youngest had someone to lean on in the difficult days following his mothers passing. I will admit that I was not a model father in those days. I spent most nights after work at Lucky Shack Cards and Drink, drowning my sorrows, and gambling away what little money we had left.
That's when I realized that something had to change. I was filling the void left by my wife with the wrong things. Deep down I was very lonely, but I wasn't sure I was ready to meet anyone new, or how the boys would take it if I did...
